Nisei Week Foundation Marching Band 2012
Its been awhile since we posted something on our blog, but we have been really busy in putting together the 2nd outing for the Nisei Week Foundation Marching Band and Dance Troupe.
Thanks to All our Sponsors who have helped put this together. We cannot thank them enough For the following:
R and R Creative Design for all the Graphics
Rheuben Allen Saxophones for the Curved Sopranos
Sunset Printing, Gardena, CA - Poster Printing
Nisei Week Foundation for supporting us at the 72nd Nisei Week Annual Parade
KDI Music for Support & Logistics
Keyline Lithography, Inc - Graphics
We had a great time under the Musical Direction of David Yamamoto, and Dance Choreography by Andrea Yamamoto. We played a Japanese Ondo Number - One Plus One, and implemented the traditional Dance Routine for the entire unit.
Next Year we will be performing to Shiawase Samba with the Dance Troupe. Let us know if you are interested by contacting us at nwfmarch@gmail.com.
Here are some pictures from the Nisei Week Parade held on August 12, 2012 in the Streets of Little Tokyo Los Angeles.
