Kenny G "E-Series" Soprano Saxophone

Check These Horns Out!!!! Kenny G "E-Series II" Straight Soprano Saxophone
This Soprano Saxophone features a bore design based on the horn Kenny G plays.
*The “E-Series II” Kenny G Soprano Saxophone revolutionize the harmonic key concept & design.

Harmonic Key:
Two Different Harmonic Key Designs come with each soprano.

It is considered by many great soprano saxophonist that the Mark VI style body sopranos should use the Palm E key to product the altissimo or harmonic notes on the soprano and no the traditional High F palm key.....

When we first saw Kenny play, we noticed he uses the palm E key to product the notes bridging the gap between the natural range of the saxophone and the altissimo.

His soprano has a natural range to High F.

Kenny was given two prototypes to try one with traditional high F Palm key being opened by the harmonic key and the other opening the Palm E key. He said he liked something about both. So after we talked and he played a little more we decided it would be easy to offer both choices with each instrument.

Once again Kenny has helped revolutionize not only the sound of the soprano saxophone but now the mechanics of the instrument.

The altissimo key options of the NEW Kenny G "E-Series II" sopranos gives the soprano saxophonist the choice for the first time of an altissimo keys that fits their style and mouthpiece combination.

Kenny believes this to be a very outstanding feature of the NEW “E-Series II” soprano saxophones. Combined with the great response, intonation and exceptional tone color the “E-Series II” sopranos are exceptional instruments.

The harmonic key that comes on the "E-Series II" soprano saxophone (as you can see in the photo) opens the Palm E key to product the front F or bridge the fingerings between the natural range of the soprano and the altissimo range.

Option No. 2...As you look at the design of this key it opens the Palm F key to produce the Front F or bridge the gap.......

The "E-Series II" is of course the first soprano in production to provide the saxophonist with this feature and choice of altissimo key designs.
