Coming Soon - The G-Series-II" Kenny G Pro Line Saxes

Image
The "G-Series-II" - Kenny G's Professional Line. Exclusive to KDI Music  Soprano Saxophones Both of the original “E-Series” and the  “G-Series” Soprano Saxophones are very good saxophones. They were designed to play best with a short shank mouthpiece and the bore design was patterned after a vintage soprano. The tone color of these instruments is exceptional. So when Kenny wanted to improve the "G-Series" and make it more like the one he plays were some of the things Rheuben Allen thought about for the new "G-Series II" sopranos. Rheuben Allen had so many people the world over say: "It does not look like the soprano Kenny plays". The "G-Series II" not only looks just like the soprano Kenny plays and plays like the soprano Kenny plays...... Bore Design: Copied the bore of the soprano Kenny plays very closely. Rheuben Allen made only a few minor adjustments to the tone hole placement to improve the intonation and response

KDI Music Supports Music Education

Image
All of us at KDI Music have a passion for the perfect sound, in which we are adamant about teaching our younger generation the art music. Whether it is to play Woodwind, Brass, Stringed Instruments, Keyboards, Piano, Percussion, or Sing. It is important to all of us we continue this tradition. It doesn't matter what genre, or what is this person playing. Its in our best interest. As an Internet dealer for better than the other Company, be wary of low end price instruments. We at KDI Music has purchased, tested, took on the road all the instruments we sell on our website. I personally have bought the USA Clarinet, and Flute. (Sorry I don't play trumpet, but one of my staff does). I use this instrument to teach, and left my Selmer at home. The clarinet has an adjustable thumb rest (Which is great-The standards are fixed), the tone is really round, and very smooth. The flute is just as good. We are supporting and helping out Corvallis Middle School in the La Mirada-Norwalk

The Rheuben Allen Professional Solid Copper or Brass Tenor Saxophone necks are designed to improve the performance of any saxophone. They are available with the Heavy Freedom/Power Neck Brace with Adjustable Sound Weight System™. Keyless Tenor

Image
Coming Soon to the website! http://www.kdimusic.com/ The Rheuben Allen "Almost Keyless Saxophone" is a valuable learning tool for the serious student, who wants to extend the range of the saxophone and learn how to play in tune. The most important reason to practice overtones is to learn how to play in tune correctly. It's a misconception that putting the mouthpiece in just the right spot on the neck will get the saxophone to play in tune. A lot of things go into it. Using the correct reed strength with the correct mouthpiece tip opening; making sure you are playing with enough air pressure; using the correct embouchure. However perhaps the most important aspect of playing in tune is being able to control your throat position. Much like a singer, the saxophone player opens and closes their throat to fine tune the pitch of each note. Only this way will you truly be able to play in tune. Every day when you talk, your throat moves around constantly to help produce
